What is Sleep Apnea?
Obstructive sleep apnea, OSA, is a breathing related sleep disorder which can cause people to snore, as well as pose serious health threats. OSA is a condition that occurs when a person regularly stops breathing (apnea) for 10 seconds or longer during sleep.
How Can You Help Me? I Have Sleep Apnea. I’m CPAP Intolerant?
Every day we treat patients just like you, who have tried the CPAP and found it uncomfortable or unbearable. Our dental-based solutions offer an alternative solution to the CPAP. They are custom-fit to the size and shape of your mouth. This allows us to comfortably and gently move the lower jaw forward while you sleep and open your airway. By doing this we can get your snoring and sleep apnea under control and offer an effective and FDA-approved alternative to the CPAP machine.
How Can You Help Me?
Many of our patients simply snore and their partners find it unbearable.
At our treatment centers we offer you the ability to determine if your snoring is simply snoring or something more. This is done through our in-home sleep study programs. With your consultation at Snore Experts, you will gain knowledge that will help you on your way to sleeping better. After your sleep study we can then offer advanced oral appliances, as well as other options that can treat your snoring effectively and get you the sleep you deserve.
